Bringing Financial Literacy to Life: Applications Open for enrichEd® Classroom Grants
Every day, educators help students prepare for the future. They teach problem-solving, critical thinking, and the skills students need to succeed beyond the classroom. One of the most important life skills students can learn is how to confidently manage money—and that's where financial literacy comes in.
To help bring financial education to life, ARNIA Foundation and U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union are proud to launch another year of the enrichEd® Classroom Grant Program. This year, $20,000 in grant funding will be awarded to public and charter school educators throughout New Mexico to support creative, engaging financial literacy initiatives in their classrooms. Grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 are available.
Helping Students Build Money Skills That Last a Lifetime
Financial literacy is more than balancing a budget or understanding how a savings account works. It's about helping students develop the confidence to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.
Whether students are learning how to save for a goal, manage unexpected expenses, explore career opportunities, understand the cost of living, or practice real-world budgeting, these lessons can have a lasting impact long after graduation. This year's enrichEd® Classroom Grant Program is designed to support educators who are finding innovative ways to bring those concepts to life.
From Ideas to Impact
Great ideas often start in the classroom.
Past grant recipients have used funding to create hands-on learning experiences that connect financial concepts to real-world situations. From technology-enhanced financial literacy lessons to project-based learning opportunities that teach budgeting, entrepreneurship, and career readiness, educators across New Mexico have found creative ways to help students build valuable life skills. Who Can Apply?
The enrichEd® Classroom Grant Program is open to full-time educators and administrators at public and charter schools located in:
Applicants must submit a completed application, obtain school administration approval, and provide a brief budget along with an explanation of how the grant funds will be used. Applications will be reviewed based on factors including need, number of students served, geographic diversity, and overall impact.

The application period opens August 24 and closes September 27. Grant recipients will be notified during the week of October 20.
